Chris qualified at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1991 and has trained in Obstetrics & Gynaecology becoming a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in 1997.  During his training he developed expertise in keyhole gynaecological surgery with training in the U.K and U.S.A.

Chris has been a consultant in the Portsmouth area since 2001.

He is a leading authority in the treatment and management of endometriosis, pelvic pain, and other benign gynaecological conditions such as menstrual problems, ovarian cysts and fibroids.

Chris has worked in collaboration with a number of medical device companies and has access to the most up to date minimally invasive technologies for all these conditions.

Chris is a member of the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy and is currently one of their council members. He is also a member of the European Society of Gynecological Endoscopy and the American Association of Gynaecological Laparoscopists and travels worldwide to update and develop his experience, as well as presenting his own work at national and international conferences.  He is a trainer at the Minimal Access Therapy Training Unit (MATTU) in Guildford and a Honorary Senior Lecturer for the Masters Degree in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy at the University of Surrey.
